Story: I was once someone's protege... I can't remember who. I can't remember a lot of things. But I know that the place I once lived was called "sound". Sound Town, Village of Sound, I don't remember which. All I know is that I awoke amidst a destroyed forest, with broken trees all around me. I was pinned down by one of them, and I had suffered severe internal injury. My flute was broken, and I was very upset; that flute means everything to me, and I won't bother to explain why to people like you. In any case, I found my way out of the forest after an extensive period of healing my internal wounds slowly. I have not recovered the lost part of my memory yet... I wander the fire country in search of answers.

Tayuya found herself standing before the gates of Konoha, the village hiddin within the leaves. Two jounin stood guard casually at the gate.

"Who're you?" one of them said as she approached.

"My name is...Tayuya. May I speak with the village kage?"

"What about?" the other said.

"I lost my memory, and I have been wandering in search of my identity. I was hoping to stay here in Konoha for a while."

"Lady Tsunade is not available right now, I'm afraid. But you are in luck. It so happens that I am in charge of the screening process for immigrants to Konoha. Do you happen to remember what your trade was before you...er, lost your memory?"

"...I was a shinobi."

"Of course you were! I could tell fromt eh start of course... your honestly is a good sign though, and it pleases me. I think you're worthy of entering the screening process, so if you'll come with me I will take you to a furnished apartment that you'll be staying in until your citizenship is approved."
