He knocks with the back of two fingers.

"...Hey. Choji?"
...no responce...
He makes a fist now and knocks multiple times.
-knock knock knock-
"Ugh. Wake up you bum..."
Shikamaru now gets a little irritated for having to wait so long. So he knocks one last time, harder than before.

He sighs.
