Flowers For You

Crimson watched as Sasuke started to walk away and laughed softly.
*Sasuke has a flower on his back*

"Aw..." Crimson's smile fell. *At least he didn't say anything about the note.*
She looked at Sasuke who was grinning then froze. "SASUKE! YOU'RE SMILING!"
*Pulls out camera and takes a picture*
"I got in on camera!" Crimson waved the camera above her head and did a happy dance!

*Sobs* "My camera."Crimson said sadly "It's...gone." Picking up the ashes of her camera and scattering them in the wind Crimson followed Sasuke leaving the bouquets of flowers on the floor for anyone who wanted them. "I can't believe you killed my digital camera."

Crimson put her hand to her head, "Yeah, well...you're...erm..." Crimson looked for some way to make a comeback and her eyes locked onto Sasuke's head. "You have the hairstyle of a duck's butt...that or a cockatoo heck I don't know."
*...wow...that was THE lame.*

"Well, I was going to say you're emo, but if that stands for emotional isn't everyone emotional sometimes?" Crimson tilted her head and started to think hard. "...wait, my comeback wasn't that horrible!"
Crimson looked to the sunset. "Hey, let's watch this!" Sitting on the grass she tugged on Sasuke's sleeve.

For a second Crimson's heart almost stopped.
"Sasuke!" She hurried beside him and knelt down, "What's wrong?"
She felt tears forming *Not another friend.* "Sasuke!" Crimson put an arm around his shoulder.

Crimson's heart started to pace itself as her normal breathing returned.
*It was nothing serious...thank goodness.* Crimson looked to Sasuke, *I'm not going to cry...* Crimson brushed the water gathering in her eyes and smiled, "I'm glad you're alright."
After a few seconds she laughed, "I'm so glad..." Her smile faded, "You're not in pain are you?"

As Sasuke sat down, Crimson drew herself into a comfortable sitting position to the left of Sasuke.
Crimson watched Sasuke with a sad expression. *Don't push yourself too hard.*
Turning towards the sunset, Crimson stretched out her hand as if reaching out for the sun. "Why...why does it hurt?" She asked without looking to Sasuke.

Crimson was a bit hurt. Maybe she wouldn't understand, but there was a chance that she might. If she couldn't she could try to.
Of course she wouldn't understand the pain, but...she could listen.
"If you want to tell me you can...I mean, I want to understand. Give me a chance to try." Crimson looked to Sasuke and patted her own shoulder. "You can borrow my shoulder if you want." She said with a small yet sincere smile.

Crimson looked down. "So...that eye...it's going to destroy you one day?"

Crimson picked up a flower and started to pull off the petals as she did before.
Down to the last petal Crimson smiled, "I won't let it happen. I'll find a way to stop it...I refuse to let that happen to my friend."
Looking to Sasuke she smiled her most hope-filled smile.
"The Doujutsu won't defeat my determination." She said as she made a fist. "I won't let it take over you, Sasuke."

Crimson perked up. There was already a way? That was easy!
"How?" She asked, not sensing Sasuke's hesitation.
