Crimson was trying out the exams that ninja's took to get to the next level. Traveling through the trees, she was starting to smile.
This wasn't that bad. How come everyone gave it such a scary name?

Something just fell on her shoulder. Crimson brushed it off...only to meet something very smushy...
OMGOSH THAT'S THE BIGGEST BUG I'VE EVER SEEN!?
Screaming her head off (Crimson hates bugs) she started to run around in circles, eventually falling from the very...very...high tree...perfect.

Crimson gave a nervous laugh that died quickly.
"Ah, and yet you're still with me. Who's the stupid one now?"

"Wait, that didn't sound right." Crimson said as she looked for the bug. Good. It was gone...she didn't realize it was on her back.
"I hate bugs. And don't glare! You're face will get stuck like that, didn't I say that to you before?"

"Aw man. Not again." Crimson tugged at Sasuke's sleeve and tried to hit his hand. "I'm not a cat, I'm not an animal! Rahr!"

"Ok, ignore the 'rafr'. But really. I asked the officials if I could train here and supposedly there's another group here who has a scroll of heaven. That's what I need. Sasuke, this is embarrassing!"

"Don't say it like that, that makes me sound like I'm slacking...WHICH I'M NOT" Crimson dusted her clothes and looked around, "You've passed this exam before right? Am I heading towards the tower? It should be in the middle...but...where's the middle?"

Crimson shifter her feet. "Well...you're always teaching me...and...it seems like I always mess the lessons up or I'm really...really...REALLY lazy...so.."

She looked at her teacher and friend, "I wanted to surprise you. I mean. I must seem really...pathetic alot. And you're always saving me. I wanted to be better so that you'd be proud when we fought again."

"R-really?!" Crimson's mouth dropped, "I...I won't let you down!"

Crimson reached to her side and pulled out her wire
"I don't know what to say." Hoping Sasuke would notice her gesture she motioned to the trees behind them. The other party was near.

A smile appeared onto Crimson's face. She looked to Sasuke and put up three fingers...two fingers...one.
*Boom*
A cry of swears and pain came to the ears of the two ninjas.
"What a beautiful sound." Crimson said in a tone that wasn't necessarily sarcastic.
Just then five others appeared, "Five? I thought there was only suppose to be three. Hey! You're cheating!"

"Sasuke, don't stall!" Crimson threw a kunai in Sasuke's direction to prevent a man from the other team from hitting him, "You're going to get hurt!"
Geez. Why did he space out? Was he thinking about the past?...
...nothing interesting happened here that was important...

Unfortunately, when Crimson thinks, she gets paranoid. Now she thinks that Sauske's becoming enveloped again in his thoughts about Orochimaru. This was the spot were he was marked.
And of course, she was wrong about Sasuke's silence.
"Sasuke! He's dead!"
Obviously these words would confuse Sasuke. He wasn't a mind reader

"Huh? Me? " Crimson quirked a brow, "Uh...he's Dead!"
*what was I saying...what's HE saying?* Crimson thought,*Orochimaru, right*

"Don't worry! You'll be fine! If you forget just leave that behind!"
Crimson was talking about Sasuke's memories of Orochimaru.
Wow. Big miscommunication.

"What?" Crimson scratched her head. "Does you're spacing out have anything to do with some emotional trauma you experienced when you were a new ninja?"

...that would be really awkward if he said no.

OUCH! So she was wrong...

"Oh...I was just wondering..." Crimson looked at the sky, or...not really sky since it was covered.
"One of these guys should have the scroll..." She blocked out what just happened, "How far is it to the tower? a few hours?"

"You...didn't say....how far..." Crimson's eye twitched. It couldn't be that far....
"Right!" Crimson pointed towards the direction of the wind, "We head out now!"
Traveling by ground, Crimson picked up the pace. What's the worst that could happen...besides...bugs...and spiders...and giant sucking worms...psch...like that could exist...

"Are they're bugs here Sasuke?"

Like seeing a red light, Crimson stopped. Giving a nervous laugh to Sasuke, she started to slink away."I think...I...have to go..."
