The howling at benitez Hall

It was about 11 in the evening, and the air was damp and heavy with rain.

Two friends, Alma and Christine, both young and creative writing instructors at the Diliman campus, were stranded in front of Benitez hall.

Benitez Hall was infamous for its ghost sightings. It also is the oldest building in the campus. Its been rebuilt since World War II destroyed it.

After getting off from a jeepney, they ran as fast as they could towards the huge wooden door of Benitez hall where a security guard was sitting quietly, writing something in a small piece of paper.

Christine, who lived nearby, asked the security guard to let them into the building since the rains were getting more furious. The two needed a place to stay for the night, or at least, until the rain stops.

after presenting their IDs, the guard let them in. By that time, they were both soaking wet.

The guard asked the caretaker of the building if he had the keys to one of the classrooms. the guard led them to an empty classroom at the left side of the building.

They connected two desks to make a bed. Since there were no blankets, they used their jackets.

Suddenly they heard footsteps outside. then it stopped in front of the room. Christine tried to open the door but it was stucked. They kept calling out for the guard but no one came.

When they couldn't call the guard, Alma peeked through the hole on the door. She saw nothing but the color red.

After 10 minutes the guard opened the door.They were so nervous of what happened. Alma asked the guard if he's seen any ghosts in the building.

The guard said, " No but the previous guard told me when one night while he was on night shift he saw a girl floating, dressed in white with BIG RED EYES!".

As the guard told them this, both Christine and Alma fainted.
